The Buddhist Metta is a prayer for healing for all living beings and the self. It is a relaxing meditation and helps instil states of calmness and relaxation. It is one of the most wonderful prayers I have ever learned and is useful praying for your family, friends and the whole world.
It is only 7 minutes long and can be done as a morning, evening or at any point in the day when you need to decompress.
It can be used as an introduction to a personal meditation session or at the end of your meditation. It does change one’s negative thinking and busy mind.
